Description
Eduardo Olivas Quintana is nephew of master potter Jorge Quintana and part of the second generation of potters in Mata Ortiz. He is the winner of several awards for his pottery work. His pieces are hand coiled in white clay from the Mata Ortiz archaeological site and utilize elements of Paquime design. The combination of painted and etched designs gives an additional dimension to his artistry.
