Description
Guayasamin, renowned Ecuadorian painter who was born in Quito in 1919 and died in Baltimore in 1999. A curious fact of Guayasamin’s death, is related to his remains which rest under the Tree of Life, which is a pine tree planted by the artist himself in his house during his last years of life, located in Quito, which is today a Museum known as Guayasamin House Museum.
