Description
Fernando Andriacci (b. 1972 ) received his first training at the House of Oaxacan Culture; later, at the Rodolfo Nieto Municipal Plastic Arts and Monumental Painting Workshop and the Rufino Tamayo Plastic Arts Workshop. Since 1983, he has created his own fantasy-based world in which uses from 10 legendary and mystical characters to toy horses on wheels, elephants on bicycles, crazy goats, crocodiles, crabs and crickets.
Andriacci has become a leading international artist with monumental pieces in public and private collections. His work represents whimsical animals that were designed to amuse his young daughters.
